Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) 2017 yılında temel eğitimden ortaöğretime geçiş sınavında köklü değişiklikler yapmıştır. Temel Eğitimden Ortaöğretime Geçiş Sınavı (TEOG) kaldırılmış yerine Liselere Geçiş Sınavı (LGS) getirilmiştir. İlk defa 2018 yılanda uygulanan sınavın, adının yanında içeriğinde de önemli değişikler olmuştur. Bu çalışmada LGS’ de sorulan Programme for International Student Assessment ([PISA]Uluslar Arası Öğrenci Değerlendirme Sınavı) ile benzer olan Matematik dersi sorularını doğru cevaplama ile okuduğunu anlama konusunda ilişki öğretmen görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini Sakarya, örneklemini ise Hendek ilçesi MEB ortaokullarında çalışan 38 ilköğretim Matematik dersi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında matematik ve eğitim bilimleri alan uzmanlarından faydalanılarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları kullanılmıştır.
The Ministry of National Education (MEB) made radical changes in the transition exam from basic education to secondary education in 2017. The transition to high school (LGS) exams were removed from basic education to secondary education (TEOG). For the first time in 2018, the exam, along with its name, has made significant changes in the content. In this study, the relationship teacher’s opinions were assessed according to the understanding that he read Mathematics lesson questions similar to the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) asked by LGS. The research methods are used by research methods. The universe of the study is Sakarya, and the sample is made up of 38 primary mathematics classes teachers working in the MEB district of Hendek. In the collection of research data, the researchers developed semi-structured forms of conversation using the specialists in mathematics and educational sciences.

The contend of it has changed as well as the name of the exam, which administered for the first time in 2018. In this study, the relationship between answering the math questions correctly asked in High School Entrance Exam (LGS) which is similar to the questions asked in Programme İnternational Student Assessment (PISA) and reading comprehension was evaluated according to the teachers’ opinions. Case study one of the qualitative research methods was used in the research. Sakarya is the basis of the population of study and the base of the sample is 38 primary school mathematic teachers, working at the school of the Ministry of National Education(MEB) in Hendek distriet. By using mathematics and educational sciences experts in the collection of the research data semi-structured interview forms were used by researchers.
