Bu çalışmanın amacı Beden Eğitimi Öğretmeni adaylarının akademik erteleme eğilimlerinin öz düzenleme becerisi ve öz yeterlik düzeyleri üzerinde tahmin edici bir etkisinin olup olmadığını incelemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 109 kadın, 131 erkek, toplam 240 Beden Eğitimi Öğretmeni adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Genel Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği, Akademik Erteleme Ölçeği ve Güdülenme ve Öğrenme Stratejileri Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, adayların demogratif özelliklerine ilişkin bulgular için frekans ve yüzde analizi, alt boyutlar arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla Pearson Korelasyon Çarpımı testi ve yordayıcılık düzeyinin saptanmasında Çoklu Adımsal Regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Pearson Korelasyon Çarpımı testi sonucunda akademik erteleme eğilimi ile öz düzenleme becerisi ve öz yeterlik arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Regresyon analizi sonucunda, öz düzenleme becerisine ait olan sınav kaygısı ve öz yeterlik alt boyutlarının ve öz yeterliğe ait olan yılmama alt boyutlarının akademik erteleme eğiliminin önemli bir yordayıcısı olduğu görülmüştür.
The aim of this study is to study whether the academic delay trends of the body education teacher candidates have a predictive impact on their self-regulating skills and self-qualification levels. The study group consists of 109 women, 131 men, and a total of 240 body education teachers candidates. Relational scan method was used in the research. The data collection tool has been used as the General Self Qualification Scale, the Academic Delay Scale and the Scale of Introduction and Learning Strategies. In the assessment of the data, the analysis of frequency and percentage for the findings related to the demographic characteristics of candidates, the Pearson Correlation Collapse Test and the Multi-Step Regression Analysis were used in the determination of the level of localization in order to study the relationship between the subdimensions. The Pearson Correlation Collapse test found that there was a negative meaningful relationship between the tendency to academic delay and the ability to self-regulate and self-capacity. As a result of the regression analysis, it has been found that exam concerns and self-capacity subdimensions and self-capacity subdimensions are an important contributor to the tendency to academic delay.
