Şair Nigâr Hanım, 1862-1918 yılları arasında İstanbul’da yaşamıştır. Mühtedi bir ailenin kızı olan Nigâr Hanım’ın babası Macar asıllı Osman Paşa, annesi ise üst düzey Osmanlı bürokratı Keçecizâde Fuat Paşa’nın mühürdarı Nuri Bey’in kızı Emine Rifatî Hanım’dır. Şair Nigâr Hanım, Osmanlı İmparatorluğunda siyasi değişimlerin yaşandığı, yenilikçi hareketlerin gündeme geldiği bir dönemde gelenekten kopmadan Batılı eğitim anlayışı ile yetiştirilmiştir. Kadınların gazete ve dergilerde görünür olması Batılılaşma hareketlerinin bir parçası olarak bu dönemde toplumsal yaşama yansımıştır. İlk şiir kitabı Efsûs’u böyle bir ortamda yayımlayan Nigâr Hanım, dönemin ruhuna uygun şiirler, nesirler kaleme almıştır. Efsûs’un ardından Efsûs (ikinci kısım), Nîrân, Aks-i Sadâ ve Elhân-ı Vatan adlı şiir kitapları yayımlanır. Şair Nigâr Hanım, edebiyatı ve yaşamı ile 1880-1890 yılları arasındaki İstanbul’un sosyo-kültürel hayatı hakkında okura bir fikir verir. Türk edebiyatının klasik nazım şekillerini değiştirerek eserlerinde kullanmıştır. Şiirlerinde dekoratif görüntüler yerine canlı tablolar yaratmıştır. Şair Nigâr Hanım’ın edebiyatında ve hayatında resim/fotoğraf daima etkili olmuştur. Yaşamındaki resim/fotoğraf tutkusu edebiyatına, üslubuna da aksetmiştir. Nigâr Hanım’ın yazılarında ve şiirlerinde resim ögesi vardır onun eserlerinde pitoresk bir tavır söz konusudur. Bu çalışmada öncelikle Nigâr Hanım’ın eserlerinden kısaca bahsedilecek sonrasında ise onun eserlerindeki pitoresk tavır, örnekler üzerinden analiz edilmeye çalışılacaktır.
The poet Nigâr Ms. lived in Istanbul between 1862-1918. The father of Nigâr Mrs. is Hungarian Osman Pasha, and her mother is the daughter of the senior Ottoman bureaucrat Keçecizâde Fuat Pasha, the sealer of Nuri Mr. Emine Rifatî Mrs. Poet Nigâr Ms. was educated with the Western education sense in a period in which political changes occurred in the Ottoman Empire, in which innovative movements came to the agenda. The appearance of women in the newspapers and magazines as part of the Westernization movements reflected social life in this period. The first poetry book, Efsus, published in such a environment, has received poems, generations, which correspond to the spirit of the time. In the literature and life of the poet Nigâr Mrs. painting/photo has always been influential. His life’s passion for photography and literature has also influenced him. In the writings and poems of Mrs. Niger there is a painting subject; in her works it is a pitoresque attitude. In this study, we will first talk briefly about the works of Mrs. Nigâr, and then we will try to analyze the pitoresque attitude in her works through examples.
