Impact of Job Satisfaction on Job Performance: A Study on Educational Sector of Pakistan

Abstract:

The behavior of the employees can easily be determined in any organization through attitude of workers that are significant for top management. A common phenomenon is “More satisfied employee means more productivity in employee. A satisfied workforce will lead to the more peaceful environment within the organization to perform best. The main problem that is discussed in this study is to determine the impact of job satisfaction on jib performance. It indicates which rewards either intrinsic or extrinsic have an influence on the employee performance. This study also reveals that extrinsic motivation given to the employee in an organization has a significant impact on the worker performance. It also considered the demographic factors of employees on job performance. Data were collected through survey using a questionnaire from three employees group from Comsats Sahiwal. The analysis data shows that there exists a positive correlation between job satisfaction and employee performance. Key Words: Job satisfaction, Motivation, Rewards, Job performance.
