COVID-19 Pandemisi Döneminde Bireylerin Harcamalarının İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Araştırma COVID-19 pandemisi döneminde bireylerin cepten yaptıkları sağlık ve diğer amaçlı harcamalarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada 484 kişiye ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada 33 sorunun yer aldığı bir anket formu kullanılmış ve bu form yazarlar tarafından uzman görüşü alınarak hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma verileri 2020 yılı Haziran ayı içerisinde online ortamda toplanmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde SPSS 20 paket programı kullanılarak tanımlayıcı istatistiksel analizlere ek olarak, Mann Whitney U ve Pearson Korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada katılımcıların %61,6’sı kadınlardan oluşurken katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 30,98±10,01 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca katılımcıların %10,1’inin kronik rahatsızlığı bulunmakta ve %22,3’ü aynı evde risk grubundaki bireylerle yaşamaktadır. Tüm bunlara ek olarak katılımcıların %61,8’i COVID-19’u ölümcül düzeyde tehlikeli bulurken, %82,9’u Türkiye’yi COVID-19 pandemisi ile mücadelede oldukça veya çok başarılı bulmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda COVID-19 pandemisi sebepli hane bazlı harcamalar incelendiğinde sağlık amaçlı 436,1 TL, diğer amaçlı 1011,9 TL ve toplamda 1163,3 TL ortalama harcama yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca harcamaların yaş, medeni durum, cinsiyet ve COVID-19 tanısı alma durumuna göre farklılık gösterdiği ve harcamalar ile katılımcıların yaş, eğitim düzeyi ve Türkiye’yi pandemi ile mücadelede başarılı bulma düzeyleri arasında ilişkilerin olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.

The research was carried out to investigate the health and other expenditures that individuals made out of pocket during the COVID-19 pandemic period. 484 people were reached in the context of research. A questionnaire with 33 questions was used in the research and this form was prepared by the authors by getting expert opinion. Research data was collected online in June 2020. In the analysis of the research data, Mann Whitney U and Pearson Correlation analysis were used in addition to descriptive statistical analyzes using the SPSS 20 package program. While 61.6% of the participants were women, the average age of the participants was calculated as 30.98±10.01. In addition, 10.1% of the participants have chronic illness and 22. 3% of the participants live in the same house with individuals at risk. On the other hand, 61.8% of the participants found the coronavirus deadly dangerous and 82.9% of the participants report that Turkey is quite or very successful in the fight against the pandemic of COVID-19. As a result of the study, when household-based expenditures due to COVID-19 pandemic were examined, it was determined that an average expenditure of 436.1 TRY for health purposes, of 1011.9 TRY for other purposes and of 1163.3 TRY in total was made. In addition, it has been demonstrated that expenditures differ according to age, marital status, gender and COVID-19 diagnosis. And there was a relationship between the spending of the participants and the age, education level and levels of finding Turkey successful in the fight against the pandemic.
