Abstract:

The general purpose of this research is to reveal teachers’ opinions about the special training services offered in the Guidelines and Research Centers. In the study of the case, the method of discussion of the quality research methods was used. Maximum diversity sampling and measurement sampling have been used together and 20 teachers and managers have been included in research in different branches that work in schools with special education classes within the Kahramanmaraş province. In the collection of data, a semi-configured interview form developed by researchers was used. After the conversations, the data was examined by the content analysis. Themes and codes created according to the content analysis have been included in findings. The research has achieved results on the type of services offered, the educational evaluation and recognition processes, the placement processes in the educational environments, the difficulties experienced and the solutions proposals. In terms of the effectiveness of private educational services, it is considered important to form a private educational awareness of other stakeholders, such as managers, teachers, students and the family. In the solutions proposals presented in order to address the difficulties experienced in the processes of educational recognition and placement of special education services, the main emphasis is the spread of special education schools and increased awareness. The research has also presented recommendations to practitioners and researchers.
