Ayfer Tunç is a good observer of the fundamental dynamics that make up the society. The author, who often centers the conflict between the individual and society in her works, includes people who reflect various age groups, genders, socio-economic levels, educational backgrounds and different cultures in the society. The study is based on the question of how aging is represented in Ayfer Tunç’s story "Youth is the Morning Dew" in her work Cave Friends. Aging, which is the last stage of human life, can be explained by considering its sociological, biological and spiritual aspects. Based on the idea that literature functions as a mirror that reflects the society, it can be said that the values socially attributed to aging are made visible through literature. In this study, which is about the story “Youth is Morning Dew”, aging is handled from many aspects and focused on the meaning world of old aging individually, socially and spiritually. In the study, the conflicts experienced in aging, both in the individual and social context, are examined and the way old age is experienced in the modern world is discussed with a multifaceted perspective. Through the study, in which the main conflicts between youth and aging have been made visible, it has revealed that aging is represented in the story as a period intertwined with loneliness, sense of worthlessness and death.
