Abstract:

Ecocriticism provides a nature-centered approach to literary texts by examining the environment and human relationship. The authors express the necessity of the protection of nature through elements by presenting the elements that belong to the environment in their works. In this way, ecocriticism calls for the attention of the reader to ensure the ecological balance and for the construction of the future and helps him to review the environmental understanding. In this study, the historical process of ecocritical which examines the relationship between literature and the environment, its increasing importance, its aims in terms of Russian literature is examined and Sergei Zalygin's Ecological Novel is analyzed descriptive content. The study also in Russian literature studies explorations door to ecocritical readings.
