Abstract:

The aim of this study is to reveal the changes in the behavior of organizational socialization and organizational citizenship in the training process and the dynamics of the relationship between these two variables. To this goal, the longitudinal panel research method has been used a single-group pre-test final test model. The research was carried out with the participation of the students of the assistant commissioner who was trained at the Police Admirals Training Center associated with the Police Academy's chairman. Students who successfully completed their theoretical and practical training within a year at this center begin to carry out their professions. The data was collected with an survey prepared using the Organizational Socialization Scale developed by Chao and his friends (1994) and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale developed by Podsakoff and his friends (1990) and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale developed by Chao and his friends (1994) and the Organizational Socialization Scale developed by Podsakoff and his friends (1990). The analysis included 1660 data obtained from the surveys applied to students at the beginning, end and end of the theoretical education. According to the findings, theoretical education has a positive impact on organizational socialization, although it has no impact on organizational citizenship behavior, and the practical education has a positive impact on both organizational socialization and organizational citizenship behavior. It is also the result that the relationship between organizational socialization and organizational citizenship behavior from the beginning to the end of the educational process has been increasingly strengthened.
