Abstract:

In this study, the aim is to study the level of financial literacy towards the university staff. In this regard, the prepared survey was applied to 263 people in a public university. In the light of the obtained data, the explanatory and verifying factor analysis was applied to identify the reliability and validity of the scales and the level of financial literacy was determined. Explanatory and verifying factors analyzes resulted in one-factor structures for four different scales, which were able to explain the total variance of 38% to 65%. The reliability ratings obtained for each scale showed that the scale has the function of valid and consistent data collection. The criteria of well-being also indicated good sleep in terms of results. The conducted t test and variance analysis showed that gender, civil status, financial tracking and financial assets have statistically significant differences for the level of financial literature.
