Küreselleşen bir köy olarak dünya, her geçen gün kültürel formu ile derinlik kazanan bir alana dönüşmekte. Kültürel formunu koruması ve güçlendirmesi noktasında en önemli nirengi noktası, kuşkusuz görsel iletişim araçlarının, kültürün yayılması ve gelişmesinde sağladığı olanaklardır. Sinemanın bir sanat dalı olarak geniş izleyici kitlesi bulması ve güçlenerek bir sektör halini alması kültürlerin üzerinde tanıtımı ve yer yer dönüştürücü bir etkiyi hesaba katmamız gerektiğini göstermektedir. Bu noktada belli merkezlerin sinema geleneği kurarak dünyaya farklı hikâyeler anlatmak istediklerine de şahit oluruz. Özellikle doğrudan siyasi amaçlarla bağlantılı olarak hazırlanan propaganda tarzı filmlerden tarihsel bir konuyu yeniden ele alarak genel kanıyı yönlendirmeye varan bir dizi sonuçla karşılaştığımız olmaktadır. Dünya siyasetinde belli merkezleri temsil eden ülkelerin görsel sanatlara, özellikle de sinema sektörünün gelişimine katkı sağlayacak maddi ve teknik destekten geri kalmamışlardır. Araştırmamızın konu edindiğimiz Hollywood sineması da kültürel kodları ile Amerikan yaşam tarzı ve düşünüşün tüm dünyaya yayılmasında karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Hollywood küresel bir kültür olarak da yaygınlık kazanmıştır. Biz de bu çalışmada Hollywood sinemasının nasıl küresel bir kültürel olgu haline geldiğini ekonomik ve siyasi etkileri de göz önünde bulundurarak açıklamaya çalıştık. Bunun yanı sıra sanat sineması adıyla anılan filmlerin nasıl ikinci bir küresel tüketim kanalı oluşturduğunu ortaya koyamaya çalıştık. Böylelikle küreselleşmenin kültürel ve toplumsal boyutta yarattığı yarılmayı tespit etmeye çalıştık.
As a globalized village, the world is becoming a deeper area with cultural form every day. The most important point in the preservation and strengthening of its cultural form is, of course, the possibilities of visual communication, the spread and development of the culture. The fact that the cinema is an art branch to find a wide audience and to become a sector by strengthening shows that we should take into account the promotion of cultures and the place transforming effect. At this point, we will see that certain centers want to tell the world different stories by setting up the film tradition. Specifically, from the propaganda style of films prepared directly related to political purposes, we are facing a series of conclusions that react to the general blood by re-interpreting a historical topic. The countries that represent certain centers in world politics are not behind the material and technical support that will contribute to the development of visual arts, especially the cinema industry. The Hollywood cinema, which is the subject of our research, also faces us with its cultural codes and the American lifestyle and thought spread throughout the world. Hollywood has also gained popularity as a global culture. We also tried to explain in this study how the Hollywood cinema has become a global cultural phenomenon, taking into account the economic and political effects. In addition, we tried to reveal how the films called the art cinema formed a second global consumption channel. Thus, we tried to identify the halfway that globalization created in cultural and social dimensions.
