Araştırmanın amacı, Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi (DKAB) Öğretmenlerinin Empati Düzeyleri ile Öğretmen Özyeterlik Düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırma Google Docs üzerinden online olarak rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle ulaşılan 575 öğretmene uygulanmıştır. Örneklemden toplanan verileri analiz etmek için SPSS 16.0 programı ve veri toplama aracı olarak da; “Empati Düzeyi Belirleme Ölçeği”, “Öğretmen Özyeterlik Ölçeği”, ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Sosyo-demografik değişkenler ile iki ölçek arasında farklılaşma olup olmadığını belirlemek için tek yönlü varyans (ANOVA) analizi, bağımsız örneklem t-testi, post hoc bonferroni testleri kullanılmış ve iki ölçek arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit edebilmek için de pearson korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada DKAB öğretmenlerinin Empati Düzeyi ile Öğretmen Özyeterliği; cinsiyet, yaş, görev yılı, okunan kitap sayıları ve toplumsal problemlere ilgi durumu gibi değişkenler açısından ele alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak cinsiyet ve toplumsal problemlere ilgi durumu değişkenleri ile empati düzeyi; cinsiyet, yaş, görev yılı ve okunan kitap sayıları değişkeni ile öğretmen özyeterlik düzeyi arasında anlamlı farklılaşma hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca Empati Düzeyi ile Öğretmen Özyeterliği arasında 0,314 oranında pozitif yönde ve anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
The purpose of the research is to reveal the relationship between the levels of empathy of the Teachers of Religious Culture and Ethical Knowledge (DKAB) and the levels of Teacher Selfishness. The study was conducted by 575 teachers who were able to find random sampling online via Google Docs. SPSS 16.0 has also been used as a data collection tool to analyze the data collected from the sample; "Empathy level determination scale", "Teacher self-sufficiency scale", and "Personal Information Form". To determine whether there is a differentiation between socio-demographic variables and two scales, one-way variance (ANOVA) analysis, independent sampling t-test, post hoc bonferronian tests were used and pearson correlation analysis was also applied to identify the relationship between the two scales. The study addressed the teachers’ empathy level and teacher selfishness in terms of variables such as gender, age, year of office, the number of books read and the status of interest in social problems. As a result, the interest status variables in gender and social problems and the level of empathy are calculated; the difference between gender, age, year of office and the number of books read and the level of teacher selfishness. There was also a positive and meaningful relationship between the level of empathy and the teacher self-sufficiency at 0.314 per cent.
The aim of the research is to reveal the relationship between the Empathy Levels and The Teachers' Self-Efficacy Levels of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge Teachers. The research was applied to 575 teachers, who were reached through Google Docs via simple random sampling method. In order to analyze the data collected from the research sample, as SPSS 16.0 program and data collection tool; "Empathy Level Determination Scale", "Teacher Self-Efficacy Scale", and "Personal Information Form" were used. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), independent sample t-test, post hoc bonferroni tests were used to determine whether there are differences between two scales and socio-demographic variables, and pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the two scales. In the research, teacher self-efficacy with the empathy level of the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge teachers; It is discussed in terms of variables such as gender, age, year of duty, the number of books read and interest in social problems. As a result, a significant difference was calculated between the gender and interest in social problems variables and empathy level; the gender, age, duty year and the number of books read variables and teacher self-efficacy level. In addition, there was found a positive and significant correlation between Empathy Level and Teacher Self-Efficacy at a rate of 0,314.
