Abstract:

The aim of this research is to develop a success test on the subjects of control and regulatory systems and sensory organs included in the sixth class science course 'Systems and Health in our body'. The research using the detective ordered karma method has been carried out in a few steps. First of all, the purpose of the test was scanned by the researchers in the area in the summer and a total of 50 already selectively asked questions were identified. In the determination of questions, the achievements in the curriculum of the renewed science course have been taken into account. The validity of the test has been addressed by the expert opinion, so that the opinion of the field is presented by specialized academics and teachers in language, scope, understandability, etc. Thus, the question was submitted to 46 points. These materials were applied to a total of 212 seventh-class students who have previously processed the subject for pilot applications. The data obtained has been subjected to material analysis and has been drawn up in the way of arrangement/extraction. The average difficulty of the test, consisting of 40 already selectively asked questions, is 0.61 and the average differentiability is 0.47. Some of the questions left in the test after the material analysis have been corrected. The KR-20 reliability ratio of the success test applied to a different group of 178 students for the reliability analysis was calculated as 0.86. When achieved findings are generally evaluated, it can be said that the test is a valid and reliable test to measure the students' achievements in the subject.
