Abstract:

The aim of this research is to develop a measurement tool to identify the good perceptions of citizenship of teachers candidates. The model is used in the study. Examples in the field list for the purpose of the study have been studied and the scale development stages have been carried out and a scale of 65 ingredients 5 in the likert type has been prepared. The prepared scale 2017-2018 educational teaching was applied to 670 teachers candidates who studied at the Mediterranean University Education Faculty during the spring period. To determine the validity of the measurement; through the data obtained from the application, the Applying Factor Analysis (AFA) and the Verifying Factor Analysis (DFA) have been achieved a structure of 33 matters, 5 dimensions. The dimensions obtained from the scale were named using the field text and expert opinions. The internal consistency level for the entire scale is calculated to determine the reliability of the scale. The Cronbach Alfa internal consistency ratio of the measurement is determined as .89. As a result of the verifying factor analysis, the conclusion is that the materials of the Good Citizenship Perception Scale showed adequate conformity, the structure discovered with AFA has been confirmed. As a result, it is possible to say that a valid and reliable scale has been achieved to determine the level of good citizenship perception of the teacher candidates.
