Abstract:

Human diplomacy, which is one of the important aspects of the proactive foreign policy that Turkey has followed in recent periods, has become much more important in terms of Turkish foreign policy with the Arab Spring, which began in 2011. Ankara has concentrated its aid activities in different geographical areas in recent years, especially in Africa and Asia, in countries in need of aid and has become a force with a special weight in this area with its relevant institutions. In this process, Turkey, Africa and Asia geography, through aid, has sought to implement its foreign policy that puts people at the center through various public institutions and civil society organizations (STK). Because the cost of human diplomacy is high, it brings a significant burden to Turkey and the NGOs that operate in this area.
