Bu araştırmada, ergenlerin zorbalık eğilimleri, internet bağımlılıkları ve duygusal zekâ düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın evreni 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında Gaziantep ili Şehitkamil ilçesinde yer alan lise düzeyindeki okulların 9. 10. 11. ve 12. sınıflarında eğitim gören ergenlerden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubu ise Gaziantep ili Şehitkamil ilçesinde yer alan ve her lise düzeyinden basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 191 kız, 218 erkek toplam 409 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada elde edilen verilerin analizleri SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. İnternet bağımlılığı, akran zorbalığı ve duygusal zeka alt boyutları arasındaki ilişkiye, normal dağılım şartı bulunmayan ve çarpık dağılıma sahip olan verilerin analizinde kullanılabilen Sperman Sıra Farkları Korelasyonu tekniği ile bakılmıştır. İnternet bağımlılığı ile duygusal zeka ölçeğinin toplamından elde edilen puanlar arasında negatif yönde zayıf ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. İnternet bağımlılığı ile akran zorbalığının tüm alt boyutlarından elde edilen puanlar arasında ise pozitif yönde zayıf ve anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmıştır.
The purpose of this research is to examine the relationships between adolescent’ peer bullying tendencies, internet addiction sand levels of emotional intelligence. The universe of their search consists of adolescents studying in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades of high school evel schools located in Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep province in 2016-2017 education year. The sample of the study consists of a total of 409 students, 191 girls and 218 boys, select edby simple random sampling method at each high school level in Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep province. Analysis of the data obtained in the study was per formed using the SPSS 22.0 package program. The relationship between internet addiction, peer bullying and subdimensions of intellectual intelligence was examined with the Sperman Row Difference Correlation technique which can be used in the analysis of the data with no distortion and normal distribution. The internet addiction levels differed significantly only by gender. There was a weak and significant relationship on then egative side between the scores of internet addiction and the sum of emotional intelligence scale. Also it is obtained weak and significant relationship in the positive direction between the internet addiction and the scores from all the sub scales of the peer bullying.
