Garib-name 14. yüzyıl Türk edebiyatının en etkili metinlerindendir. Metnin çok sayıda yazması bulunduğu halde ne mevcut hâliyle ne de yeni Türk harfleriyle, 2000 yılına kadar basılmamıştır. Kemal Yavuz’un transkripsiyonunu hazırladığı ve günümüz Türkçesine de çevirdiği bu metin basılmıştır. Garib-name’nin yazarı Âşık Paşa, döneminin edebî dili olan Farsça yerine, eserini Türkçe yazdığı için saygıyla anılagelmiştir. Onun amacı Arapça ve Farsça bilmeyen Anadolu halkını aydınlatmaktır. Bu onun cesaretini de gösterir. Onun bu tercihi 20nci yüzyılda Türkçülük hareketine kadar uzanır. Sadece Türkçeyi kullanması değil, aynı zamanda tasavvuf açısından İslamiyet’i anlatması da insanları etkilemiştir. O ve takipçileri İslam ve tasavvufu anlatırken Allah ve onun yarattıklarına duyulan sevgi anlayışının yaygınlaşmasını sağlamışlardır. Soyut kavramlara dayanan din çeşitli hikâye ve somut ifadelerle açıklanmıştır. Bu makalemde Âşık Paşa ve takipçilerinin 19 ve 20’nci yüzyıllardaki etkilerini belirtmek istedim. Edebî metinlerde Türkçenin kullanılması kadar İslamiyet ve Tasavvufun etkisi de bulunmaktadır. Elbette doğrudan doğruya Âşık Paşa’nın etkisinden söz etmek mümkün değildir ancak bu kitabın yaygın olarak okunması, halkın ve aydınların zihin ve bilinçlerini etkileyerek günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır.
Garib-Nâme is one of the most influential texts of the 14th century Turkish literature. Although the text has many writings, neither the current state nor the new Turkish letters, the text has not been printed until the year 2000. This text was printed by Kemal Yavuz and translated into today’s Turkish. The author of Garib-Nâme, Âşık Paşa, was honoured because he wrote his work in Turkish instead of Persian, the literary language of his period. His purpose is to illuminate the people of Anatolia who do not know Arabic and Persian. This also shows his courage. His preference extends to the Turkish movement in the 20th century. It has not only influenced the people using Turkey, but also describing Islam from the point of view of Tasavvuf. He and his followers have made it possible to spread the love of Allah and His creations while speaking about Islam and Tasavvufu. The religion based on Soyut concepts is explained by various stories and concrete expressions. In this article I wanted to point out the influences of Love Pasha and his followers in the 19th and 20th centuries. In the literary texts there is the influence of Islam and Tasavvuf as well as the use of Turkish. Of course, it is not possible to speak directly about the influence of Love Pasha, but this book has been widely read, influenced by the minds and consciousness of the people and the bright have reached to the present day.
