Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to reveal the views of teachers on the pedagogical formation certificate program. In the study that preferred the model of science from quality research methods, the opinions of teachers of educational sciences that teach in PFSP at a state university's educational faculty were applied. According to this, the study’s work group included 17 teachers from different disciplines of the Department of Educational Sciences working at the educational faculty of a state university. Data was collected through a semi-configured interview form, content analysis was used in data analysis. At the end of the study, it was found that PFSP was unable to the goal of training qualified teachers, and that most teachers were unnecessary. According to teachers, the most important problems in PFSP are focused on learning-learning process,student, course content, evaluation, teaching application, general problems and teaching element themes. Accordingly, the implementation of PFSP to a new structure and model, more importantly, a consistent policy in the teaching system needs to be followed.
