Conflict is a phenomenon which occurs in every environment and event including people. Many factors being globalization, information and technology in the first place making business life complex increase conflict both among individuals and organizations. Therefore it has become an important management factor for business manager to make use of conflict and learn preventing. Modern management approaches regard conflict as a driving force of improvement and development, accept that it is a phenomenon which brings dynamism and establishes ground for the creativity of business if it is managed successfully. In this study, reasons of organization conflict among SME were mentioned and it was aimed to put forward the perspective of SME managers about conflict and which methods they prefer and implement in conflict management. For this purpose, interviewed face to face with 115 SME managers which are registered to İstanbul Chamber of Commerce and the necessary data is collected. The result of data analysis, it is determined that an important part of the SME managers applied integration strategy and respectively followed by compromising, dominating, oblavoiding strategies.These results shows that SME managers perspective about conflict management is close to the modern approaches.
