Abstract:

This study is based on the Libanese electoral system and its parties, which was imposed by the French Mandate as the Constitution of Lebanon in 1926, which was mainly the western and mainly the boundaries of France, and which was established by the constitutional amendments in 1943 and 1947. In this study, which was centered between 1926 and 1975, the Libanese Confesional System, also known as Libanese Democracy, was discussed in relation to the Libanese Constitution and its representation in the government. It has also been attempted to determine whether the Lebanese elections are the ideology and the party or the competitive field of traditional families. Finally, in the period until the years of the 1975 Civil War, the parties and allies, equally represented by the theoretical percentage of Lebanon’s population, were also studied as a whole.
