Y. V. Chamanzaminly was one of the rare persons in the beginning of the XX century, who brought a novelty with his activities and works to the literature and public thought of Azerbaijan. Although, he was a lawyer, the literature attracted his attention much. He wrote the poems and read literary works under the influence of his brother since childhood. It was a favourite habit in the next stages of his life and the writer made the deep impressions over the nation with his works. He assessed as a loss the times which he was engaged in politics. In 1919-1920 he was the first ambassador of Azerbaijan Republic in Istanbul. But then he induced to leave from Istanbul and moved to Paris, to his brother. This article covers details about Y. V. Chamanzaminly, an important figure of Azerbaijani literature, his life in exile at France, why he was segregated from his movement friends, and at least his return to Soviet Azerbaijan in 1926.
