II. Meşrutiyet dönemi Türk siyasal hayatı açısından birçok ilke ortam hazırlayışı, dinamik oluşu ve önemli izler bırakması nedeniyle oldukça önemli bir dönemdir. Bu çalışmada, II. Meşrutiyet döneminin önemli muhalif partilerinden Ahrar Fırkası ile Hürriyet ve İtilaf Fırkası’nın siyasi yaşamlarına göz atılarak her iki partinin ideolojik açıdan taşıdığı farklılıklar ortaya konulmuştur. Gerek Ahrar Partisi gerekse Hürriyet ve İtilaf Fırkası’nın İttihat ve Terakki Cemiyeti muhalifliğinde aynı noktada durdukları görülmüştür. Ayrıca her iki parti de liberal düşünceleri benimseyip devlet yönetiminde adem-i merkeziyetçi bir anlayışı benimsemiştir. Bu çerçevede her iki parti de Türk sağında mevcut olan liberal muhafazakâr düşüncenin taşıyıcısı ve savunucusu olmuştur.

The period of legitimacy is a very important period in terms of Turkish political life due to the preparation of many principles of the environment, the dynamic formation and the leaving important traces. In this work, II. The political life of the major opposition parties of the legacy period and the political life of the Ahrar Fraksi and the Hürriyet and the Opposition Fraksi has revealed the differences that both parties carry from an ideological point of view. If necessary, the Party of Ahrar has seen the Hürriyet and Opposition Frontier standing at the same point in the Opposition and Opposition Society. In addition, both parties have adopted liberal opinions and adopted an adem-i centralistic concept in the government administration. In this context, both parties have been the carrier and defense of the liberal conservative thought that exists on the Turkish right.
The Second Constitutional Monarchy era can be described as an important period in terms of Turkish political life. In this study, the political lives of the Ahrar Party and the Hürriyet and Itilaf Party were examined and the ideological differences between these parties were tried to be revealed. It has been observed that both parties stand at the same point in opposition to the Committee of Union and Progress. Also both parties adopted liberal ideas and adopted a decentralized understanding in state administration. Both parties are the bearers/defenders of the liberal conservative thought that exists in the Turkish right.
