Malnütrisyon, hastaların yaşam kalitelerini etkilerken; mortalite ve morbidite düzeylerini de olumsuz etkilemektedir. Gelişen malnütrisyon sonucu, yetersiz besin alımını azaltmak ve malnütrisyona çözüm oluşturmak için öncelikle oral beslenme destekleri tercih edilmektedir. Oral beslenmenin yetersiz olduğu durumlarda ise nazogastrik yoluyla beslenme, perkütan endoskopik gastrostomi gibi beslenme yolları ön plana çıkmaktadır. Oral beslenme yetersizliği durumunda enteral beslenmenin, parenteral beslenmeye göre daha üstün olduğu savunulmakta ve günümüz beslenme modellerinde oral beslenmeye en yakın beslenme modeli olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Amaç: Bu araştırmada, oral beslenmenin yetersiz olduğu durumlarda enteral nütrisyon kullanımının etkileri araştırılarak, literatür derlemesi amaçlanmıştır. Enteral nütrisyonun kullanım yolları, yöntemleri ve dozları incelenmiş ve literatür ile birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. Kapsam: Bu derlemede enteral beslenmede klinik yaklaşım ile ilgili güncel bilgiler yer almaktadır. Yöntem: Araştırmada Science Direct, PubMed gibi veri tabanları kullanılarak literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmayı derlemek için güncel ve kapsamlı veriler kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Birçok çalışma, enteral beslenmenin yetersiz beslenme durumunda tercih edilmesi gereken en önemli basamaklardan biri olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuç: Malnütrisyon yatan hastalarda sık gözlenen bir durumdur. Malnütre olan hastalarda enteral nütrisyon; hastalıkların tedavisi, hastanede yatış süresi, hastalık maaliyeti, inlamasyon gibi birçok konuda güvenli ve iyileştirici olarak görülmektedir. Yaşanacak komplikasyonlar uzman ekibin takibi neticesinde önlenebilmektedir.
Malnutrition affects the quality of life of patients; it also affects mortality and morbidity levels. As a result of developing malnutrition, oral nutrition support is preferred primarily to reduce the intake of insufficient foods and to create a solution to malnutrition. In cases where oral nutrition is insufficient, nutrition through nazogastric, such as percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, is in the forefront. In the case of oral nutrition deficiency, it is claimed that internal nutrition is superior to parenteral nutrition and is considered as the most close to oral nutrition model in today's nutrition models. Purpose: In this study, literature collection is aimed at investigating the effects of the use of enteral nutrition in cases where oral nutrition is insufficient. The methods, methods and doses of enteral Nutrition have been studied and evaluated together with literature. This collection contains up-to-date information about the clinical approach in the enteral nutrition. Method: In the study, literature scan was done using databases such as Science Direct, PubMed. Updated and comprehensive data has been used to collect this research. Discoveries: Many studies show that internal nutrition is one of the most important stages to be preferred in the event of insufficient nutrition. The result is that malnutrition is a common condition in patients underlying. In patients with malnutrition, enteral nutrition is seen as safe and healing in many aspects, such as the treatment of diseases, the duration of hospitalization, the cost of illness, inlamasion. Complications can be prevented by the team’s tracking.
