Abstract:

This study aims to study the relationship of the virtual scrolling phenomenon in the business life with personality variables and with some demographic variables. For this purpose, to measure virtual scrolling in business life, it was developed by Lim (2002), Henle and Blanchard (2008) and developed by Eysenck and Eysenck (1978) to measure the personality with the virtual scrolling scale (SKÖ) which was standardized by the Study and Star (2014) and adapted to the English by Cantez (1984) and used the Personality scale (KÖ). The study was conducted to a total of 296 participants, including 182 women, 61.50% and 114 men, 38.50. The SPSS 22 package program applied multiple regression analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and t test. According to the findings, the personality’s intrinsic-external orientation, the subdimensions of neuroticity, the variables of gender, age and educational level together have found that the important and unimportant behavior of virtual recording has been significantly influenced. Gender does not make a meaningful difference in terms of the under-dimensional of the unimportant virtual recording behavior in the workplace. In the context of the findings of the study, previous research results have been discussed and recommendations for future research have been made.
