Abstract:

Whether it is local or national, newspapers are the most important item that attracts the attention of the reader in a newspaper. It is important to note the importance of this item, to be written with the minimum error. From this point of view, the reporter who writes the manuscripts must be more selective, thin and frequently documented. In this study, the Manuscript News of the Bingöl Gazette, which is a local publication in the province of Bingöl, was examined. The news was discussed in terms of writing and pointing as well as in terms of news writing technique. The study was conducted in the Bingöl Gazette's 01 January - 30 January 2018 publication range. In addition, the research is limited to the notes of news. The news on the first page of the newspaper and other news on the first page of the newspaper were not included. The reason for the study is that only newspapers are included because the notes are a more remarkable element. The notes that make up the window of the newspapers are the most important element that sells the newspaper if it is well written. During the writing of the news, if the rules of language in Turkey are observed and if the news is created by keeping the rules of writing, the event that is desired to be transmitted, the information is given more clearly. So in the head of the reader, “What did it mean in the news?” There is no question sign in the form. From this point of view, the error in writing of the news in the notes of the news content also brings the impression that the reporter who writes the news is unknown. In the study, the news was studied by the content analysis method. As a result of the review, the results have been found that the Bingöl Gazette does not comply with the rules of news, writing and pointing, and that the notes do not have the necessary importance.
