Araştırmada, erken çocukluk döneminde en çok izlenen çizgi filmlerin ve bu çizgi filmlerdeki şiddet öğelerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çankırı İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü’ne bağlı olan bağımsız anaokullarında eğitim gören çocuklarla yapılan araştırmada, nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çocukların en çok izledikleri çizgi filmleri belirlemek için uzman görüşü alınarak son şekli verilen “Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu” kullanılmıştır. Çocukların izledikleri çizgi filmler belirlendikten sonra, çizgi filmlerde yer alan şiddet öğelerini belirlemek için kategori ve alt kategorilerden oluşan ve uzman görüşüyle son şekli verilen “İçerik Analiz Formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın geçerliliği dış denetleyici, güvenirliği ise kodlayıcılar arası uyumla ölçülmüştür. Araştırma sonucunda, çocukların en çok izledikleri çizgi filmlerin sırasıyla “Keloğlan, Pepee, Ege ile Gaga, Niloya, İstanbul Muhafızları” olduğu belirlenmiştir. En çok izlenilen çizgi film olarak belirlenen “Keloğlan” çizgi filmi için 2015 Ocak- 2018 Ocak yılları arasında son sezon olarak yayınlanan “Keloğlan Odama Saklandı” bölümünden on beş tanesi rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş ve “İçerik Analiz Formu” doğrultusunda analizler tamamlanmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda “Keloğlan” çizgi filminde en fazla fiziksel şiddete yönelik öğelere (n=17) yer verildiği ve bunu sırasıyla duygusal (n=12) ve ekonomik (n=2) şiddete yönelik öğelerin izlediği belirlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara dayanarak, çizgi filmlerde şiddet öğelerinin olmaması yönünde çaba gösterilmesi, başta ebeveynler olmak üzere tüm toplumun bu konuda gereken hassasiyeti göstermeleri önerilebilir.
The study aims to identify the most frequently viewed cartoons in early childhood and the violent elements in these cartoons. In the research with children who are educated in independent kindergartens related to the National Education Directorate of the province of Çankırı, the quality research patterns have been used by the method of study of the situation. The "Semi-Structured Interview Form" has been used to be given the final form by taking the expert opinion to determine the cartoons children most watched. After the identification of the cartoons children watched, the "Content Analysis Form" was used, which consists of categories and subcategories to determine the violent elements in the cartoons and was given the final form by the expert opinion. The validity of the research is measured by the external controller, and the reliability is measured by the compatibility between the coders. According to the research, the cartoons most watched by children were "Keloğlan, Pepee, Ege and Gaga, Niloya, Istanbul Guards" respectively. For the most watched cartoon "Keloğlan" cartoon, the fifth of the "Keloğlan in the Room Hidden" section, which was released as the last season between January 2015 and January 2018, was selected by random sampling method and the analysis was completed in accordance with the "Content Analysis Form". The analysis found that the "Keloğlan" cartoon included the most physical violence elements (n=17) and followed by the emotional (n=12) and economic (n=2) violence elements respectively. Based on the findings from the study, the effort to ensure that there are no elements of violence in the cartoons may be recommended to show the sensitivity that the whole society, primarily parents, needs in this regard.
The aim of the study is to determine the most watched cartoons in early childhood and determination of violence items in these cartoons. Cankiri Provincial Directorate of National Education in kindergartens that are connected to the research conducted with children who are studying qualitative research method was used. To determine the most watched children’s cartoons, given their expert opinion on the final shape of “Semi-Structured Interview Form” was used. After the cartoons watched by the children were identified, a “Content Analysis Form” consisting of categories and subcategories was used to determine the violence items contained in cartoons. The validity of the external controller of the study, compliance was measured from the reliability encoders. As a result of the research, it was determined that the most watched cartoons of the children are “Keloğlan,Pepee, Ege and Gaga, Niloya, İstanbul Muhafızları”. For the “Keloğlan” cartoon, which is the most watched cartoon, fifteen of them were selected by random sampling method from the section “Keloğlan Odama Saklandı” which was published as last season January 2015- January 2018, and the analyzes were completed in accordance with the “Content Analysis Form”. It was determined that items for physical violence (n=17) were included in the “Keloğlan” cartoons as s result of the analysis, followed by items for emotional (n=12) and economic (n=2) violence respectively. Based on the results obtained from the research, it can be suggested that efforts should be made not to have violence items in cartoons, and that the whole society, especially parents, should show the necessary sensitivity to this issue.
