Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin velilerle yaşadıkları sorunlar üzerine nitel bir araştırma yapmaktır. Öğretmenlerin velilerle yaşadıkları sorunları incelemeyi amaçlayan bu çalışmada nitel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntem ve tekniklerinden durum araştırması şeklinde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 21 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada sistematik olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmış ve bu örnekleme yönteminin çeşitlerinden biri olan maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemesi ile çalışmanın örneklemi belirlenmiştir. Veri toplama yöntemi olarak araştırmacı yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu oluşturmuştur. Veriler içerik analizi yaklaşımı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada öğretmenlerin velilerle yaşadığı sorunlar iki tema altında incelenmiştir: iletişim ve destek sorunları ile olumsuz tutum ve davranış sorunları. İletişim ve destek sorunlarına öğretmenler, iletişimsizlik, velilerin öğretmene destek olmaması, sorumluluk almama ve bilgi düzeyi düşüklüğü gibi konularda karşılaştıklarını belirtmiştir. Olumsuz tutum ve davranış sorunlarına ise velilerin eğitim sürecini ciddiye almamaları, şikayetlerin tehdit unsuru olarak kullanılması ve öğretmene müdahale gibi durumlar öne çıkmıştır. Velilerin eğitim sürecindeki rolüyle ilgili olarak, öğretmen-veli iş birliği ve veli desteği konuları ele alınmıştır. Öğretmenler, velilerin iş birliğine önem vermesi, çocukların gereksinimlerine dikkat etmeleri ve eğitim sürecine aktif katılım göstermeleri gerektiğini vurgulamıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, okul-veli iş birliğini geliştirmek için etkinlik düzenlemesi, iletişimi iyileştirme ve yasal düzenlemelerin önerildiği belirlenmiştir.
The purpose of this research is to conduct a qualitative research on the problems that teachers have with their guardians. In this study, the teachers used the quality method to study the problems with the parents. The research quality is designed in the form of state research from research methods and techniques. The study group consists of 21 class teachers. In this study, the sample method was used for non-systemic sampling methods and the sample method was determined with the maximum variety sampling, which is one of the varieties of this sampling method. As a method of data collection, the researcher has created a semi-configured conversation form. The data was analyzed using the content analysis approach. In the study, the problems that teachers experience with the guardians were studied under two topics: communication and support problems and negative attitudes and behavior problems. Communication and support problems teachers, lack of communication, the lack of support to the teacher, the lack of responsibility and the low level of knowledge. Negative attitudes and behavior problems have been highlighted in situations such as the parents do not take the educational process seriously, the use of complaints as a threat element and the intervention of the teacher. In relation to the role of the guardians in the educational process, teachers and guardians cooperation and guardians support issues have been addressed. Teachers have emphasized that parents should pay attention to cooperation, pay attention to children’s needs, and actively participate in the educational process. The research finds that activities arrangements, communication improvements and legal arrangements are recommended to improve school-college cooperation.
The aim of this study is to conduct a qualitative research on the problems teachers experience with parents. Qualitative method was used in this study which aims to examine the problems teachers experience with parents. The research was designed as a case study from qualitative research methods and techniques. The study group of the research consists of 21 classroom teachers. Purposive sampling method, one of the non-systematic sampling methods, was used in this study and the sample of the study was determined by maximum variation sampling, one of the types of this sampling method. As a data collection method, the researcher created a semi-structured interview form. The data were analyzed using content analysis approach. In the study, the problems experienced by teachers with parents were examined under two themes: communication and support problems and negative attitude and behavior problems. Communication and support problems were reported by teachers as miscommunication, parents' lack of support for teachers, lack of responsibility and low level of knowledge. Negative attitudes and behavioral problems included parents not taking the educational process seriously, using complaints as a threat and interfering with teachers. Regarding the role of parents in the educational process, teacher-parent cooperation and parental support were discussed. Teachers emphasized that parents should attach importance to cooperation, pay attention to children's needs and actively participate in the educational process. As a result of the research, it was determined that organizing activities, improving communication and legal regulations were recommended to improve school-parent cooperation.
