Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the trends in the doctoral theses prepared using quality research methods in the field of Turkish education between 2011-2020. In the study, document analysis was used within the quality research methods. The theses within the scope of the study have been accessed through the Higher Education Council through the National Thesis Center. The work was completed by 285 people. 99 of these theses are prepared using quality research methods. During the study of the theses, the thesis evaluation form was used and the content analysis was made. The results of the study determined that the theses prepared by quality research methods were usually document analysis. There are many topics in the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language. Examples are used as sample selection methods. The most content analysis was done in the theses. It is believed that this study could provide information for meta-synthetic studies.
