Abstract:

İlk bakışta, koyu bir Hıristiyanlık eğitimi almış Danimarkalı bir 19. Yüzyıl filozofu ile Anadolu Selçuklu döneminde yaşamış bir İslam mistiğinin düşünceleri arasında benzer yaklaşımlar olabileceğini düşünmek oldukça güçtür. Ancak Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmî ve Søren Kierkegaard, insana ve onun sahip olduğu olanaklara bakış açılarıyla farklı çağlardan benzer düşünceleri dile getiriyor görünmektedirler. Bu makalenin amacı Mevlânâ ve Kierkegaard düşüncesindeki muhtemel benzerlikleri, benlik kavramı ve benliğin gelişim aşamaları bağlamında varoluşçu bir bakış açısıyla ele almaktır.
