Abstract:

Suzuki Early Age Music Education, Japanese artist and pedagogist Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998) II. It is a music teaching method that he developed after the World War. It was developed for the chemistry, and later adapted to other instruments. Although education is focused on the teaching of instruments, the main philosophy is to be able to love music to young children. With this system in which child psychology is in the forefront, reaching young children and developing their skills at the right time in a vedo forms the main idea of the method. Suzuki teaches the child from 2 years old. The time to learn the instrument is between the critical period we call 2-7 years in the age of growth. Suzuki Education is based on a philosophy that hosts children and educational psychology and there is a very systematic method under it. It is of great importance that no step in this method is studied without passing and that all the principles under the basic philosophy of education are adapted to the practice. In the lesson practices, this systematic shell is drawn in detail especially for children of very young age and it is required to be applied properly. This study, prepared by the literature scan method, is a guiding, practical guide to trainers who want to become a Suzuki trainer or who want to use the techniques in the application of the method in their training. The aim is to show the contribution of the method to early age music education by paying attention to the importance of the method in the light of the information about the functioning of this method which is not yet well known in Turkey. In the study, the Suzuki Music Education Method has explained the pathways, the principles of application, how homework and courses are planned, followed in the teaching stage to children of very young age in general, and parallelly pointed to the main principles of the method.
