Bir dilin öğrenilmesinde kelimelerin yüklendiği anlamların bilinmesi önemli bir olgudur. Kelimelerin anlamlarının zamanla, daraldığı veya genişlediği bilinmektedir. Arap dilinde bahsedilen bu durumların tamamına rastlamak mümkündür. Araplar, İslam’ın gelişi ile birlikte yeni bir inançla ve yeni bir kültürle karşılaştılar. Bu yeni inanç ve kültür onların eski, inanç ve kültürlerine yeni değerler, dillerine yeni lafızlar getirmenin yanı sıra, var olan lafızlara yeni manalar yüklemiş ya da kullanılagelen manalarda birtakım değişimler yapmıştır. Bir dil mucizesi olarak indirilen Kur’an’ın bunda katkısı büyüktür. Kur’an merkezli dil çalışmaları sayesinde Arap dilinin bugünkü gelişmişlik düzeyine ulaştığı söylenebilir. Kur’an’ın doğru anlaşılmasına küçük bir katkı olsun diye bu makalede عَقَل maddesi anlambilim açısından ele alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sözü geçen kelime, bazı klasik Arapça sözlüklerden taranarak bu kelimenin delalet ettiği manaların tespitine çalışılmış sonra Kur’an’da kelimenin geçtiği ayetler tespit edilerek bazı müfessirlerin bu kelimeye yükledikleri manalara yer verilmiştir. Bu sayede kelimenin manasında anlam daralması ya da anlam genişlemesi olup olmadığının tespitine çalışılmıştır.
Learning a language is an important fact to know the meanings in which words are charged. It is known that the meanings of the words are shrinking or expanding over time. It is possible to find all of these situations mentioned in Arabic. The Arabs, along with the arrival of Islam, met a new faith and a new culture. These new beliefs and cultures have brought new values to their old, new values to their beliefs and cultures, new words to their languages, and a number of changes in the words that have been added to new meanings or used. The Qur’an, which has been revealed as a miracle, has a great contribution to this. Through the Quran-based language studies, it can be said that Arabic has reached the current level of development. The Qur’an is a small contribution to the understanding of the Qur’an in this article, which is considered to be a small contribution to the understanding of the Qur’an. The word passed, by scanning from some classical Arabic dictionaries, was tried to identify the meanings that this word was deleted after the Qur’an revealed the words passed, and some of the professors were placed in the meanings that they loaded to this word. This means that the meaning of the word is compromised or extended.
It is important to know the meanings of words when a language is learned. Besides this it is clear that the meanings of the words become narrowed or widened in time. It is possible to come across all of these situations which are mentioned above in the Arabic language. The Arabs are confronted with a new belief and a new culture with Islam. These new beliefs and cultures bring new values to their old, beliefs and cultures, new words to their tongues, as well as new changes to existing words or changes in used manners. Also the languages of the Qur’an as the miracle play a great role in this. Thanks to the Qur’an-based language studies, Arab language reached development level in the present time. In this article, for the correct understanding of the Qur’ãn as a small contribution, I will examine the word عَقَل in term of semantic. First of all, the meanings of this word searched classical Arabic lexicon and then the word determined from Qur’ãn verses. Besides this I will give some interpreter opinions about the meaning of this word. Thanks to these I will try to determine that whether the meaning of the word narrowed or not.
