Araştırmada cinsel gelişim ve cinsel eğitimi konu alan çalışmaların lisansüstü tezlerde ne şekilde ele alındığını başka bir ifade ile konu eğilimlerinin neler olduğunu belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmada cinsel gelişim ve cinsel eğitimi konu alan lisansüstü tezlerdeki eğilimler tematik olarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmada betimsel içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya dâhil edilen çalışmaları YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde erişim izni olan cinsel gelişim ve cinsel eğitim içerikli 15.08.2021 tarihine kadar yayınlanan 32 lisansüstü tez oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında belirlenen 32 lisansüstü tez araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan “Cinsel Gelişim ve Cinsel Eğitimi Konu Alan Çalışmaları Analiz Formu” aracılığı ile değerlendirilmiş ve betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada cinsel gelişim ve cinsel eğitimi konu alan lisansüstü tezlerin büyük çoğunluğunun yüksek lisans tezi, yöntem bakımından nicel, model/desen bakımından tarama modelinde olduğu, yayınlanma sıklığının 2015 yılından sonra arttığı, çalışmaların daha çok Eğitim ve Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüleri bünyesinde yayınlandığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada cinsel gelişim ve cinsel eğitimi konu alan lisansüstü tezlerde eğilimin cinsel gelişime yönelik olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The study aims to determine how studies on sexual development and sexual education are dealt with in the postgraduate thesis with another expression what the subject trends are. The research also has studied the tendencies in postgraduate theses on the subject of sexual development and sexual education. In the study, the method of visual content analysis was used. The studies included in the study consist of 32 postgraduate theses published until 15.08.2021 with the content of sexual development and sexual education, which is permitted to access at the YÖK National Thesis Center. The 32 postgraduate theses identified within the framework of the study were evaluated and analyzed through the "Sexual Development and Sexual Education Subject Study Analysis Form" prepared by researchers and analyzed through the visual analysis and content analysis method. The study found that the majority of the postgraduate theses on sexual development and sexual education are the master's thesis in the scan model in terms of methodology, quantity, model/design, the frequency of publication increased after 2015, the studies were more published within the Education and Social Sciences Institute. The study found that in the postgraduate theses on sexual development and sexual education the tendency was aimed at sexual development.
