Bu çalışmada, COVID-19 süresince aile içi iletişimi etkileyen faktörler hakkında bir model önerilmiştir. Önerilen modelde, aile etkileşimi, ebeveynlik, duygusal/finansal yeterlilikler ve fiziksel yeterlilikler boyutları ele alınmıştır. İlk aşamada, açıklayıcı faktör analizi ile (AFA) faktör yapısı araştırılmış, daha sonra doğrulayıcı faktör analiziyle (DFA), AFA’da bulunan faktör yapısı doğrulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Özellikle COVID-19 süresince aile içi iletişimi etkileyen faktörler arasındaki ilişki birinci ve ikinci düzey doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. İkinci düzey doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda aile iletişimi olarak tanımlanan üst boyutun varlığı ortaya konmuştur. İkinci düzey DFA analizi sonucunda, aile içi iletişim üst boyutu ile diğer faktörler arasında pozitif yönde kuvvetli bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Özellikle duygusal/finansal ve fiziksel yeterlilikler arttıkça aile içi iletişimin de artacağı değerlendirilmiştir.
In this study, a model was proposed on the factors affecting family communication during COVID-19. The proposed model addressed the dimensions of family interaction, parentality, emotional/financial skills and physical skills. In the first phase, the factor structure was studied with the explanatory factor analysis (AFA), then with the verifying factor analysis (DFA), the factor structure found in the AFA was tried to verify. The relationship between the factors affecting family communication, in particular during the COVID-19 period, was tried to be assessed by first and second-level verifying factors analysis. The second-level verifying factor analysis revealed the existence of the upper dimension defined as family communication. The second-level DFA analysis found that there was a strong relationship in the positive direction between the upper dimension of domestic communication and other factors. As emotional/financial and physical skills increase, family communication will also increase.
In this study, a model is proposed about the factors affecting family communication during COVID-19. In the proposed model, the dimensions of family interaction, parenting, emotional/financial competencies and physical competencies were discussed. In the first stage, the factor structure was investigated with explanatory factor analysis (EFA), and then the factor structure in EFA was tried to be verified by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Especially during the COVID-19, the relationship between the factors affecting family communication was tried to be evaluated by first and second level confirmatory factor analysis. As a result of the second level confirmatory factor analysis, the presence of the upper dimension defined as family communication was revealed. As a result of the second level CFA analysis, it was observed that there was a strong positive relationship between the parent communication upper dimension and other factors. In particular, it was evaluated that as emotional/financial and physical competencies increase, family communication within the family will increase.
