Abstract:

The ethical debate, which is as ancient as human history, continues to date. During this long process, different approaches and theories related to ethics have been developed and divided into different types over time. One of the types of ethics is professional ethics. The principles that will guide a professional to know what rules it should do their work in the framework of the whole of the professional ethics are more different in terms of the health sector. Because the essence of the service provided in health institutions creates man and a mistake can cost the life of a person. One reason that makes ethical understanding an important and urgent element for health institutions is that the rights of self-righteousness/individual respect are overwhelmed in this sector. This study, based on the sensitivity and importance of the subject, is aimed at measuring the perceptions of the ethics of the health care professionals working in the four major public hospitals located in Diyarbakır center. There were 280 examples in the study. According to the analysis of the findings, there is a relationship between the demographic characteristics of workers in health institutions and the principles of autonomy/individual respect/illuminated approval of the ethics of the health care profession,” the five under hypotheses of the basic hypothesis were accepted.
