Abstract:

Abstract:

This study was done to obtain opinions from classmates, primary school students and their parents about the distance learning activities implemented during the Covid-19 isolation period. The phenomological pattern was used in the study. The study included a total of 39 people, including 13 primary school students, parents and classmates, selected by the appropriate sample method from the district of Maçka of the province of Trabzon. In the semi-structured conversations to get their views on remote education applied during the Covid-19 isolation period, 4 questions were asked to primary school students and parents, 5 questions to class teachers. The data obtained through semi-structured conversations through the Covid-19 isolation period was analyzed by visual analysis. This study is dated 29.09.2020 and E. The 384th edition of the Ethical Council was made with permission. Analysis found that primary school students and their parents found that remote education in the Covid-19 period was sufficient because it was teaching, but classmates found that it was insufficient because of the surface narration of the subjects. The conclusion that classmates communicate with their students to provide daily tasks has been confirmed by primary school students and their parents. In addition, both primary school students and their parents and classmates have learned better because they can interact with their teachers in the school, and therefore they prefer face-to-face education in the school. While primary school students indicate that they do not face any problems in the process of distance learning, it has been found that their parents see the lesson time being short, and classmates also see the surface narration of the subjects as a problem. Class teachers have been found that they suggest that distance learning activities are carried out by primary school students in the form of live lessons with their class teachers.

This study was conducted to get the views of primary school teachers, primary school students and their parents about distance education activities implemented during the covid-19 isolation period. Phenemology pattern was used in the study. A total of 39 people, including 13 primary school students, parents and primary school teachers from the Maçka district of Trabzon province, were included in the study. Data obtained through semi-structured interviews were analyzed by descriptive analysis. This research was carried out with the permission of ethical committee (the approval number fort he research is E.384 and the date is 29.09.2020). As a result of the analysis; primary school students and their parents found that distance education applied during Covid-19 was sufficient because of being instructive, but the primary school teachers found it inadequate because of the superficial explanation of the subjects. It has emerged that primary school pupils and their parents confirmed the conclusion that primary school teachers contacted their pupils to give them daily assignments. In addition, both primary school students and their parents, as well as primary school teachers, found that students learn better because they can interact with their teachers at school and get feedback, and therefore prefer face-to-face education at school. While primary school students stated that they did not encounter any problems in the distance education process, it was determined that their parents saw short periods of lessons and that the primary school teachers considered the superficial exposition of the subjects as a problem. Primary school teachers have been found to recommend that distance education activities be carried out in the form of live lessons with primary school students ' own classroom teachers.
