Bu çalışmanın amacı, tüketicilerin kişilik özellikleri ile risk alma ve güven duyma arasında ilişki olup olmadığının belirlemek ve güven duyma ile risk almanın da satın alma niyetiyle arasındaki ilişkilerin belirlenmesidir. Çalışmanın ana kütlesini Erzurum ilindeki İnternet üzerinden alışveriş yapan tüketiciler oluşturmaktadır. Örnekleme yöntemi olarak tesadüfi olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler yüz yüze anket yöntemi kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Toplamda 450 anket uygulanmış eksik, yanlış ve hatalı anketlerin elenmesi sonucu 412 anket değerlemeye alınmıştır. Yapılan anket neticesinde elde edilen verilere korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre dışadönüklük, uyumluluk ve yeniliklere açık olma ile güven duyma ve risk alma arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler çıkmıştır. Sorumluluk ile risk alma arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler bulunurken güven duyma ile arasında herhangi bir yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunamamıştır. Duygusal denge ile her iki değişken arasında herhangi bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Son olarak, güven duyma ve risk alma ile İnternet üzerinden satın alma davranışı üzerine yapılan analizi sonucuna göre de, güven ve riskin İnternet üzerinden satın alma davranışı ile pozitif yönde ilişkili olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.
The aim of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between the personality traits of consumers and risk taking and trusting, and to determine the relationship between trust and risk buying intent. The main mass of the study consists of consumers shopping on the internet in Erzurum. Sampling method is one of the non-random sampling methods used as sampling method. In the study, the data were collected using face-to-face survey method. 450 questionnaires were applied in total; As a result of eliminating missing, incorrect and faulty surveys, 412 questionnaires were taken into account. Correlation analysis was made to the data obtained as a result of the survey. According to the results of the study, there was a positive relationship between extraversion, agreeableness and openness to experience, trust and risk taking. While there were positive relationships between conscientiousness and risk taking, no significant relationship was found between trust and trust. No relation was found between the two variables with neuroticism. Finally, it is understood that trust and risk are positively correlated with purchasing behavior over internet according to the results of analysis on trust and risk taking and purchasing behavior on internet.
