Toplanan veriler güvenirlik analizi, açımlayıcı faktör analizi, t testi, ANOVA, korelasyon ve basit doğrusal regresyon analizi kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Sonuçlar örgütsel dedikodu ve alt boyutlarının (işle ilgili olan dedikodu, işle ilgili olmayan dedikodu) iş stresi değişkeni ile aralarında pozitif yönlü anlamlı ilişki olduğunu göstermektedir. Örgütsel dedikodunun ve alt boyutlarının iş stresi üzerinde pozitif yönlü etkisi olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Ek olarak örgütsel dedikodunun cinsiyet, işyerindeki pozisyon, eğitim, firmadaki çalışma süresine göre farklılaşması incelenmiştir.
