İMAM HATİP OKULLARI VE İLAHİYAT FAKÜLTELERİ ÖRNEĞİNDE DİN EĞİTİMİNDE KALİTE SORUNU

Abstract:

İmam-Hatip Okulları ve İlahiyat Fakülteleri Osmanlı döneminden günümüze yüz yıldan fazla tarihi tecrübeye sahip din eğitimi kurumlarıdır. Uzun tarihi süreçlerinde yaşadıkları problemler ve bu problemleri aşmada gösterdikleri çözüm yolları aynı zamanda Türkiye’deki din eğitimi alanının tecrübesini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu bağlamda bu kurumların başarısı Türkiye’de din eğitiminin geleceği açısından önemlidir. Son on yıllık dönemde her iki kurumun öğrenci ve okul sayısının artması bu okullarda verilen eğitim ve din eğitiminin kalitesini gündeme getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada, İmam Hatip Okulları ve İlahiyat Fakülteleri hakkında yazılmış akademik eserler, gazete ve sosyal medya vb haberler incelenmiştir. Yapılan bu literatür taramasında İmam-Hatip Okulları ve İlahiyat Fakültelerinde nicel artışa paralel olarak nitel bir artışın olmadığına yönelik bulgular tespit edilmiştir. Özellikle yapılan alan araştırmalarında Türkiye’de din ve dini hayat konularında gözle görülür düşüşün olduğu ve bu kurumların bu süreçteki rollerinin ne olacağı tartışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ilgili literatür bağlamında bu kurumlardaki kalite problemi üzerinde durularak bu okulların gelecek vizyonuna yönelik analizler yapılmıştır.

Abstract:

Imam-Hatip Schools and Theological Faculty are religious educational institutions with more than a hundred years of history experience from the Ottoman period to the present day. The problems they have experienced in the long historical processes and the solutions they show in overcoming these problems also reveal the experience of the field of religious education in Turkey. In this context, the success of these institutions is important in terms of the future of religious education in Turkey. In the last decade, the increase in the number of students and schools in both institutions has led to the quality of education and religious education provided in these schools. In this study, academic works written about Imam Hatip Schools and Theological Faculty, newspapers and social media, etc. were studied. In this scan of literature, the findings have been found that there is no qualitative increase parallel to the quantum increase in the Imam-Hatip schools and the theological schools. Specifically in the field research in Turkey has been discussed that there is a noticeable decline in religious and religious life issues and what the roles of these institutions in this process will be. In this study, in the context of the relevant literature, the quality problem in these institutions has been analysed towards the future vision of these schools.

Imam-Hatip Schools and Theology Faculties are religious education institutions with more than 100 years of historical experience from the Ottoman period to the present. Problems in long history processes and solutions to overcome these problems that reveals the experience of religious education in Turkey. In this context, the success of these institutions is important for the future of religious education in Turkey. The increase in the number of students and schools in both institutions in the last decade has brought the quality of education and religious education given in these schools to the agenda. In this study, academic works written about Imam Hatip Schools and Theology Faculties, newspapers and social media etc. were examined. In this literature search, there are findings that there is not any qualitative increase in parallel with the quantitative increase in Imam-Hatip Schools and Theology Faculties. Especially in the field of research made visible in religious life and religious issues in Turkey are low and it is what will be the role of these institutions in this process were discussed. In this study, the quality problem in these institutions was examined in the context of the related literature and analyzes were made for the future vision of these schools.
