Turkey has become more active in the International Student Market and also has been attempting to create a new market by activating historical, geopolitical, economic dynamics recently. Turkey’s share in Higher Education World Market is aimed to reach %1,5 by 2018 in the Tenth Development Plan. Although the issue of international students is considered in many aspects, teaching Turkish as a foreign language has been approached poorly. It is an undeniable fact that teaching Turkish to foreign students is of great importance in order to maintain a satisfactory international student policy In this study, it is aimed to explore the perceptions of international students at Turkish-medium universities towards Turkish regarding four basic language skills via qualitative research methods. In accordance with this purpose, interviews with students have been conducted, examined and analyzed.
