Abstract:

In this study, the Iranian director and screenwriter Majid Majidi's "Hz. “Muhammad: The Messenger of Allah” is a film that is intended to be studied in terms of religious values. In this context, Majidi’s life and works are briefly addressed, which is influenced by the world’s cinemas and the Islamic world. Muhammad: The Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is a messenger of the Qur’an. In the study, the quality research design was adopted, literature scan and document study methods were used. In this context, the literature on the subject was scanned, the documents obtained were examined and the findings of similar research conducted on the subject were exploited. The findings were evaluated in the light of literature. According to the results of the study, “Hz. Muhammad: The Messenger of Allah in the film, Hz. It seems that Muhammad (sav) is described in detail in the childhood period, the events that occurred from the beginning and the religious values he possesses are described by taking into account the conditions of the Arab Peninsula as well. However, it can be said that the understanding of religious-value education in the Islamic society and the background of the transformation that occurs in this process are also revealed. Thus, from the point of view of religion and values education, with the messages given through the film with a rich content; the emphasis on the religious values such as faith, worship, Qur’an verses, religious characters, religious places, religious names, religious clothes, value-expression behaviors, fate, greeting, generousness, tolerance, righteousness, mutuality, compassion, compassion, mercy, kindness, responsibility, trust, patience, justice, sharing, honesty, loyalty, workforce, sensitivity and sacrifice, the film has made the international scale of attention and the informal community can make the knowledge of religious education.
