Abstract:

The aim of this study was to examine the research/review articles published in Turkey from 2013 to 2023 on lifelong learning in terms of the years of publication, subject, method and design, sample type, sample size, data collection tools, and data analysis technique in order to provide orientation and currency in the field and to shed light on future studies. For this purpose, 188 articles published between 2013 and May 2023 were accessed. Of these articles, 63 review articles were excluded from the scope of the study, and 125 research/review articles were analyzed. Descriptive analysis technique was used in the study and the articles were analyzed according to years, method, sampling, sample size, data analysis methods, etc. The findings obtained as a result of the study were presented with frequency/percentage tables and graphs. As a result of the study, it was seen that the number of articles published in the field has increased over the years. It was also found that the sample of most of the studies examined consisted of undergraduate students, non-experimental methods were more preferred, and quantitative studies were more common.
