This study firstly aims at analyzing implications of Descriptive Grammars and findings of Second Language Acquisition Research on teaching grammar in foreignlanguage. Secondly it intends to present options in grammar teaching based onknowledge highlighted by Cognitive Approach. The matter of analysis has beendone within the frame of foreign language teaching approaches in the limitation ofgrammar teaching perspectives
