Books are publications that come together with the reader in print and digital media. In addition to their content, they also attract the attention of the reader with their designs. In this direction, books with a good design can be remarkable among many books. Book cover designs are expected to be effective and at the same time inform readers about their content. For this purpose, while designing book covers; it is aimed to use graphic elements such as typography, visual and color in a functional and creative way.

The aim of this study; is to reveal how bestselling book covers are in terms of visual design. The study universe of the research; 2023 best selling books in Turkey. In this study, best selling books were examined within the framework of visual design elements. Among the study universe, those in the D&R best selling "literature/novel" category were examined. In this direction, 636 book cover designs were determined as a sample within the scope of the study and the content analysis method was used in the study. Within the scope of the study, 636 book cover designs were determined as a sample and the content analysis method was used in the study. The cover designs of the best selling books were examined according to the categories (typography, visual and color) prepared within the framework of content analysis.
