Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, İstanbul Üniversitesi çalışanlarında iş-aile yaşam çatışmasının açıklayıcı değişkenlerinin rolünü tespit etmektir. Bu doğrultuda, üniversitede akademik, idari ve teknik kadroda bulunan tesadüfü tablolar aracığıyla seçilen 219 çalışana ilişkin değişkenlere göre iş-aile çatışması ilişkisi ortaya konulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, iş-aile çatışmasının açıklayıcı değişkenleri yaş, eşin çalışma durumu, günlük ortalama çalışma süresi, tükenmişlik ve işkolikliğin alt boyutları olan işe güdülenme ve işe katılım/bağlılık olarak belirlenmiştir. Öte yandan, aile-iş çatışmasının açıklayıcı değişkenleri ise cinsiyet, eşin çalışma durumu, çocuk sahipliği, pozisyon, günlük ortalama çalışma süresi, iş-aile çatışması, tükenmişlik ve işkolikliğin işe güdülenme ile işe katılım/bağlılık boyutları olarak tespit edilmiştir.

Business-Family Conflict in University Workers: The Explanatory Role of Employment and Failure Factors

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to identify the role of the explanatory variables of the work-family life conflict in the staff of the University of Istanbul. In this regard, the relationship between employment and family conflict has been revealed according to the variants of 219 employees selected through random tables in the academic, administrative and technical staff at the university. The study found that the explanatory variables of the work-family conflict were defined as age, employment status of the spouse, daily average working time, exhaust and low-dimensions of employment motivation and employment participation. On the other hand, the explanatory variables of family-work conflict are identified as gender, employment status of the spouse, childhood, position, daily average working time, employment-family conflict, exhaust and employment motivation and employment participation/relation dimensions.
