Abstract:

Araştırma elit üst düzey bayan taekwondocular da A Milli takım kamp döneminin bazı hematolojik parametreler üzerindeki etkisini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır.

Influence of female taekwondocula on basic hematological parameters
2007

Abstract:

The study was conducted with the aim of the elite top-level lady taekwondocus to investigate the influence of the national team's camp period on some hematological parameters. The study included 15 female athletes with an average age of 22.26 years, an average size of 171.07 cm, an average body weight of 62,03 kg before the camp and an average age of 60.90 kg after the camp. The participants were given a four-week training program prior to the European Championship. In the blood samples taken before and after camp, there is no statistical difference in HGB( hemoglobin), HCT( hematokrit), PLT(trombocytes), MCV( average erythrosite volume), MCH (mediate hemoglobin), MCHC (eritrosite hemoglobin concentration), significant increase in levels (P<0.05), WBC(lococytes), RBC( erythrosite), and there is no statistical difference in levels (P<0.05). The SPSS package program was used for statistical analysis of the data obtained. The differences between the camp before and after were identified, but the dependency 't' test was applied. The study found that the workouts did not make a difference in the WBC levels, the meaningless decline in the RBC levels could be caused by intravenous hemolysis caused by intense workouts, the significant increase in the HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC and PLT levels (P<0.05), the hypoxic conditions that occur after intense workouts, the force and pressure of the body and the stressing factors could be caused by the activation of the sympathic nervous system and the high blood donation of hematokrites from the splanic circulation along with the hemaconcentration mechanism. The achieved results can be said to be within the normal change limits given to people, so at least in terms of measureed parameters there is no risk for athletes.

Effects Of National Team Camping Period Of Teakwondo Sportswomen On Some Haematological Parameters
2007

Abstract:

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of camping period on some haematological parameters of high class elite teakwondo sportswomen. 15 sportswomen whose average age was 22.26 years, average height was 171.07 cm, and average weight was 62.03 before and 60.90 kg after the camp were taken as the subjects in the study. A four-week training programme was applied to the subjects. There was significant increase in HGB (hemoglobin), HCT (hematocrit), PLT( trombsit), MCV(Mean Corpuscular Volume), MCH (Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin), MCHC (Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration), of the subjects (P<0.05), and there was no statistical difference in their WBC( white blood cell), RBC (erythrocyte), levels (P<0.05). SPSS package programme was implemented in order to analyse the data statistically, and a dependent t test was conducted. It was determined that the training caused no difference in WBC levels and the insignificant difference was caused by intravenous haemolysis caused by intense training and the significant increase in HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, and PLT levels (P<0.05) was caused by the nervous system activation caused by the agents causing stress putting the body under force and pressure through hypoxic conditions appeared just after intense training and transfer of blood with high heamatocrit to the circular circulation from splanic circulation together with heamoconcentration mechanism. It can be said that the data obtained are in the normal change limits and thus there is no risk for the sportswomen regarding the parameters obtained.
