Emotional Intelligence is being able to monitor feelings and emotions of own self and others, to discriminate among them, and to use this to guide the thinking and actions of individual. An emotionally intelligent person is experienced in four fields: recognising , applying, understanding, and managing emotions. Emotional intelligence (EI) is defined as the ability to perceive precisely, assess and express emotions and the ability to generate feelings when they aid thoughts , recognise emotions as well as emotional information and management of emotions to promote emotional and intellectual growth.
