Özet:

In this study, based on a deep literature review the term of emotional capability is presented as one of the major determinants of the new product development teams’ success. The emotional ability that represents the collective form of emotional intelligence is identified as the ability of team members to perceive, to understand, to monitor, to organize their own and others’ feelings and to reflect them to organizational routines and structures. Emotional capacity is considered to be composed of six dynamics as encouragement, display freedom, playfulness experiencing, reconciliation and identification. These dynamics comprising both individual, team and organization level, show the organizational process and mechanisms in which the individuals perceive, evaluate and express their feelings in their interactions with others and thus demonstrate the expression and regulation of feelings and emotions by individuals and how they are triggered and managed by organizations.
