Öğretmen Adaylarının Öğrenme Stillerinin Bazı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğrencilerin baskın öğrenme stillerini belirlemektir. Bu doğrultuda araştırma Fırat Üniversitesinde pedagojik formasyon eğitimine kayıtlı 211 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Veri toplamak amacıyla Kolb tarafından geliştirilen, Evin Gencel tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Kolb Öğrenme Stilleri Envanteri kullanılmıştır.  Kolb Öğrenme Stilleri Envanterinde 4 öğrenme stili bulunmaktadır. Bunlar, Ayrıştıran, değiştiren, özümseyen ve yerleştiren öğrenme stili olarak adlandırılmıştır. Kullanılan envanterin güvenirliğini belirlemek amacıyla hesaplanan Cronbach Alfa katsayısı ,731 çıkmasıyla araştırmada kullanılması uygun görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak araştırmaya katılan bireylerin baskın öğrenme stillerinin “özümseyen” olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca cinsiyet, üniversiteye yerleştirme puan türü, mezun olunan lise türü ve yılsonu akademik başarı puanlarına göre baskın öğrenme stilinin anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür.

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to determine the dominant learning styles of students who receive pedagogical formation education. According to this, the research was conducted on 211 students registered in the pedagogical formation training at the University of Fırat. The data collection is developed by Kolb, and the Colb Learning Styles inventory is used by Home Gencel, adapted to the Turkish language.  There are 4 learning styles in the Colb Learning Styles Envanter. These are called Separating, Changing, Absorbing and Placing Learning Styles. The Cronbach Alfa ratio, calculated to determine the reliability of the inventory used, was found appropriate to be used in the research with the 731 output. As a result, it was found that the dominant learning styles of individuals involved in the research were "disruptive". It has also been shown that the dominant learning style has not varied significantly according to gender, the type of placement in the university, the type of high school graduated and the academic achievement scores at the end of year.
