Bu araştırmada, 2001-2002 öğretim yılında uygulamaya konulan ilköğretim fen bilgisi dersi öğretim programının, fen bilgisi öğretimi amaçlarının gerçekleştirilmesinde amaçlar boyutunda uygunluğu, programı uygulayan öğretmenlerin görüşlerine bağlı olarak incelendi. Araştırma, Çorum il merkezinde ve Sungurlu ilçesinde bulunan rasgele seçilen 46 ilköğretim okulunda 4.,5.,6.,7.ve 8. sınıf fen bilgisi dersini okutan 100 öğretmene anket uygulanarak gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin analizinde istatistiki yöntemlerden yüzde, frekans ve aritmetik ortalama kullanıldı. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğretmenlerin ilköğretim fen bilgisi öğretimi amaçlarının gerçekleştirilmesinde yeni fen bilgisi öğretim programını amaçlar boyutunda uygun buldukları belirlendi.
In this study, the primary science curriculum that began to be used first time in 2001-2002 education year, was examined according to its appropriateness for acquiring the aims of science education and investigated depending on the views of teachers who applied this curriculum. The study was done through making an inquiry to 100 teachers who have been teaching science at 4th,5th,6th,7th. and 8th grade in 46 primary schools that selected randomly in Çorum province center and Sungurlu district. Percentage, frequency and mean were used to analyze the data from the study. At the end of the this study, it was concluded that teachers found appropriate the new primary science curriculum for acquiring the aims of teachers’ in science teaching at primary schools
