Insurance companies have a very important role in the financial markets. In fact, high amounts of insurance are offered to real and legal persons in need of insurance in the national and international scope, and the burden of both countries and other financial institutions is relieved. In this regard, the insurance sector has a continuously developing dynamic structure. Accordingly, countries pay attention to their insurance regulations and find solutions to the problems that arise in the sector, and sometimes interfere in order to protect the rights owners and prevent the loss of confidence in the sector. In fact, in order to avoid the loss of the trust element that forms the basis of the insurance sector, it is necessary that insurance companies have a solid financial structure to fulfill their promises against the insurers. One of the methods used to identify the financial situation of insurance companies in our country is the financial rates. With the help of these rates, companies are classified as good or bad. In this study, according to the end of 2014 data of insurance companies operating in the non-life sector, a "discriminatory analysis" was applied, which is a very varied analysis method using certain financial rates. The purpose of the use of this analysis is to help decision makers identify the companies held by the competent public authority, in other words, the classification of good and bad companies. In this way, an early warning method will be presented to the competent authority to identify companies with poor financial status.
